Employee Assistance (EAP) professionals often serve as the first clinical contact for employees experiencing stress, trauma, or emerging mental health concerns. This training integrates current evidence and best practices drawn from research to enhance screening, referral, and support along the continuum of care—including initial recognition, short-term therapy, and/or through referrals to clinical and community-based supports. Participants will learn approaches to universal screening, explore resource and referral options tailored to both Veteran/military and civilian populations, review evidence based PTSD treatments to guide appropriate referrals, and highlight professional development opportunities for clinicians seeking additional training in these areas.
